Christmas is coming, though it is still two weeks away but the nuance begins. As with other religious celebrations, usually on Christmas Day, there are also foods that are served to guests. In every country polled typical food on Christmas day is different. Let's just see what kind of Christmas cookies from various countries.

Panettone and Florentines (Italy)

Panettone is a bread that is rich in butter and eggs. It was savory because of the fat content of the two materials. Usually made with a mixture of dried fruit (raisins, orange). Florentines are pastries (cookies crunchy) sometimes coated brown on one side.

Stollen and Gingerbread (Germany)

Just like Panettone, Stollen utilize dried fruit stock during the winter, but the texture is heavier. This typical German snacks sprinkled powdered sugar and marzipan filled occasionally. While Gingerbread is spekuk spiced cookies. Gingerbread has been known as one of the Christmas ornament with candy cane or snowman.

Lussekat (Sweden and Finland)

This bread is spiced saffron, cinnamon and sometimes fresh fruit. This bread is very soft textured for playing in yeast. Characteristic of this bread is yellow and the shape of the letter S.

Krumkake (Norway)

It is a cookie with a shape resembling an ice cream cone. Fill with cream (whipe cream mixed with berries)

Buche de Noel (France)

Cake is shaped trunk. Genoese sponge dough is dough, which is then cut and attached with plain butter cream. The wood comes from brown butter cream. Ordinary decorated with mushrooms and leaves of marzipan

Olliebollen (Netherlands)

Olliebollen mill land is cool cakes that can only be found ahead of the winter. More specifically, ahead of the Christmas and New Year.
